What is O level Computer Course ?

O level computer course is a foundation computer course which comes under NSQF level 5 category. The o level course was earlier conducted by the DOEACC society. But now this course is offered by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). This is a government computer course, which is recognized for government and private jobs. O level computer course has been made mandatory in most of the government jobs.

Eligibility of o level computer course ?

If you do this course from the institute, then there should be one year ITI certificate after 10+2 or class 10th. Or have completed 2 years of polytechnic after 10th.

If you direct this course, then one year ITI certificate should be there after 10+2 or class 10th. Or have completed 2 years of polytechnic after 10th. And also should have one year experience in IT sector.

Candidate must have passed NCVT-DP&CS (Data Preparation & Computer Software) Examination which is conducted by DGE&T(Govt. of India).
